Articulated Cranial Cruciate Ligament Models

Dynamic anatomically accurate models that depict tibial thrust from cranial cruciate ligament (CCL) rupture and the stability achieved after a Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy (TPLO), Tibial Tuberosity Advancement (TTA), or Modified Maquet Procedure (MMP). Models can be customized by choice of background coloration, implant manufacturer, and either an engraved practitioner name or hospital/corporate logo, or logo-free.

Background color

We have four colors of background available to fit you and your clinic’s style. Each model is laser cut for pin point accuracy and a finished look that is clean and professional. Text of the specific disease and the corrective surgery is also engraved on the model to maximize client retention during consultations. The background is also bone shaped to make the model extra special.

Implant Manufacturer

You can also choose between four of the most common TPLO implant manufacturers to represent the implants you use in your practice. These plates include internal magnets to help them stick to the model to help clients fully understand exactly what to expect post-operatively.

Custom Engraved Name or Logo

Make the model personalized with the logo of your veterinary practice or veterinary university made custom just for you. Or you can elect to have a premade logo added from major veterinary specialty hospitals. Alternatively, you can make it even more personalized with the name of the clinician. You can also go logo-free for the simplified look without distractions.

CCL/TPLO Model
from $180.00

Help pet owners truly understand one of the most common orthopedic procedures in veterinary medicine with this anatomically accurate 3D printed model designed specifically for client education by veterinary surgeons and veterinary professionals. You can customize your order to include a corporate logo, a custom logo of your choice (clinic logo, practitioner name, or university logo), or no logo for that clean look that just focuses on education.

This interactive model clearly demonstrates cranial cruciate ligament (CCL) rupture in dogs and shows how Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy (TPLO) surgery eliminates tibial thrust, making it an ideal teaching tool for consultations, client discussions, and veterinary education.

Unlike static anatomical models, this articulating TPLO model moves, allowing veterinarians to demonstrate the instability caused by a torn CCL and the mechanical stability restored after a TPLO procedure. Pieces are 3D printed with incorporated springs and magnets to allow full visualization of the procedure without any distractions or visible hardware.

This product is 100% designed, 3D printed, and assembled in the United States. Please expect 1-2 week production time prior to shipment. For custom logos, a proof will be sent for your approval prior to production.
